Catharina has more than 8 years of experience in tax law with a multidisciplinary approach in practice and a special emphasis in extractive industries taxation, counseling mining, energy and natural resources projects, VAT recovery procedures regarding special regimes, counseling on investment projects with the Peruvian State and Stability Agreements, as well as in tax litigation representing clients before the tax courts and the judiciary.
Likewise, she has knowledge and experience in national and international arbitrations.
She also has experience in tax and corporate advice related to various local and cross-border transactions, share transfers, liquidation procedures and certification procedures for invested capital before the Tax Administration.
