Catharina Jetzinger is a senior associate at Zegarra LLC Abogados, a law firm specializing in tax and corporate law. She holds a law degree from the University of Lima and has more than ten years of experience in tax law with a multidisciplinary approach in practice and a special emphasis in extractive industries taxation, counseling mining, energy and natural resources projects, VAT recovery procedures regarding special regimes, counseling on investment projects with the Peruvian State and Stability Agreements, as well as in tax litigation representing clients before the tax courts and the judiciary. Likewise, she has knowledge and experience in national and international arbitrations.
She also has experience in tax and corporate counseling related to diverse local and cross-border corporate transactions such as M&A deals, transfer of shares, wind-up procedures, and cost basis certification procedures before the Tax Administration.
She is recognized by Legal 500 as a “Leading Associate” and is an active member of IFA Peru and IPDT.
